Reformed Spirit adheres in the Reformed theology teaching that holds to the authority of Scripture, the sovereignty of God, salvation by grace through Christ, and the necessity of evangelism. Reformers themselves traced their doctrine to Scripture, as indicated by their credo of “sola scriptura,” so Reformed theology is not a “new” belief system but one that seeks to continue apostolic doctrine.

The Law was satisfied by Christ - Charles Hodge
Christ’s righteousness is so imputed to believers that their justification is not merely the act of a sovereign dispensing with law but the act of a judge declaring the law to be satisfied.

Charles Hodge, quoted in James Buchanan, The Doctrine of Justification (Edinburgh, 1984), page 410.
The gospel of justification by faith alone proclaims a mercy so great, so full, that it compromises nothing. This is forgiveness God feels good about. His conscience is happy about this way of forgiving inexcusable sinners. Therefore, our consciences too may quietly come to rest, really rest, in the finished work of Christ on the cross for us.
